Day of Dance

This was a dance sequence me and Millie Chalcraft co-designed. The dancers wanted a carnival theme so we used fringing, sequins and trimmings to create the fun costumes whilst still making sure the dancers were comfortable and covered for the March weather.  

The carnival bras were Primark bras sourced for each of the dancers. Each was then embellished with trimmings and applique before adding frindging along the edge. When embellishing the bras, we used a colour palette for each pair. For example, two pink, two blue, two gold and two multicoloured. Although a lot of the design on the cups of the bra were hidden by the fringing, when dancing you were able to glimpse the designs and it added a lot more detail.
