Midsummer Night's Dream

This was a speculative project where my focus was Titania's costume. I set the play as a ballet rather than the usual play so that I could grow my understanding of dance costume.

It was a classical ballet so I used a romantic tutu made of five layers of tulle - two ombré dyed, two orignial white colour, and one a white with green glitter. I also hid an organza layer to add more depth to the ombré that would look great under the stage light. I also embroidered a leaf design and made the top using the chiffon with the same ombré on the tutu.
